Hey Yall Hey!! Welcome back to The Unravel Challenge. Half way bay-bay. You did it. I hope you are SO PROUD and are giving yourself credit and kudos for all the deep diving that you have been doing! I hope you are ready to battle with your EGO... because that time is now. This week is all about seeking out that underlying voice/person in your head that makes sure you know exactly what it likes, dislikes, what it's gonna do and ain't gonna do! That little voice in your head that gets all hot and bothered - throwing a temper tantrum when someone changes the its norm or makes it have to do something brand new... especially if they/you haven't had notice before hand. Any of that sound remotely familiar? This little voice in your head has a friend... I call her "the best friend that needs to be GHOSTED!". This is one of the major personality traits of your EGO. This "best friend" is the one who says things like "I am not good enough. I am not smart enough. I am not tall enough. I am not pretty enough. I can't do that, I don't have the education. No one loves me. I am not needed here." Surely, if this "best friend" was standing in front of you making these bold, rude, mean ass statements, you would promptly Ctrl+Atl+Del BLOCK them!! Or worse, lay hands on them! So, let's figure out how to do JUST THAT... but less violently... First, where did this all start? Usually it is birthed in Fight, Flight, Freeze and Disassociate patterns that were created in an attempt to help you survive and stay protected. This could have been from physical harm, or from emotional/mental hurts. Maybe you have been heart broken before, or stabbed in the back by a close friend/co-worker/family member. Or maybe you have experienced an actual physical/sexual trauma. What ever the case may be... you start to "pre-feel" things. This is what I like to call it when we basically run scenarios, convos, events in our minds to work out how it will "hit" our spirit when it actually happens in real life. We come to do this so we aren't blindsided. We can't be "as hurt" if we already knew they were gonna cheat, or that plans were gonna fall through, or that we weren't gonna get that job! Pre-feeling puts you in a state where you evaluate the EGOS likes and dislikes early to keep yourself from getting in a situation you might not like or something that you may deem unfamiliar. ie Keeping you safe from harm or cushioning the blow of life's punches. How often to do you pre-feel? What pre-feeling ACTUALLY ends up doing is creating the patterns that we are trying so hard to avoid. Have you noticed that those things you wish wouldn't happen, keep coming into your life? Or the thing you have been pre-feeling and cushioning for - actually shows up? Pre-feeling creates high volumes of energies opposite of your CORE DESIRE. This just brings what you fear most into your life ON REPEAT. [ insert face into palm ] So today we are here to get a better look at your ego and ego personality traits to see where they have been a driving force in your life. To do this we are going to be using The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success (7LOSS) was written by Deepak Chopra and is a practical guide to the fulfillment of your dreams. Let's dive in: Law #1 The Law of Potentiality - This law says that in "knowing itself" (you knowing your true self) is the ability to fulfil any dream you have because you are the eternal possibility. You are all that is, and all that was. Ego Bumps: -being influenced by outside events -seeking approval of others -always in anticipation of response -needing approval/validation -need to control -disconnection with nature -judgement of self and others Law #2 The Law of Giving - This law says that the universe operates through the exchange of give and receive. The more your give the more you will receive because you will keep the abundance of the universe circulating in your life. Ego Bumps: -not giving -giving with the intent to receive -not being able to accept help -holding tightly to your possessions and money -not being able to be grateful for what you already have Law #3 The Law of Karma - This law says that you reap what you sow. Ego Bumps: -being easily insulted or offended -not being mindful of your choices, actions and words -repeating past mistakes/situations -not trusting your gut and/or heart's intuition Law #4 The Law of Least Effort - This law says do less and accomplish more. The universe functions with effortless ease and no resistance, when you align with harmony and love you easily bring your desires into fruition. Ego Bumps: -belief that you only achieve if you work hard -belief that easy isn't apart of your life -you seek power and control over people and things -you don't accept things has they are if you didn't make them that way -you blame your current life situations on something/one else -you operate in a close minded way -you are regularly on the defensive Law #5 The Law of Intention and Desire - This law says that energy and information exist everywhere in nature and that all change is brought about by attention and intention. Attention energizes and intention transforms. Ego Bumps: -being self center/selfish -you can't detach from your wishes (you feel lack there) -you struggle against the present -you can't see your obstacles as opportunities -you view yourself as the world sees you, not as the divine sees you Law #6 The Law of Detachment - This law says that in order to acquire anything you desire you must first release your attachment to it. Ego Bumps: -you question the power of your true Self -you operate in fear and insecurity -you have a high level of anxiety -you have a poverty or lack consciousness -there is a lot of stagnation in your life -you only take risk that have known outcomes -you often force outcomes -you lack faith and hope Law #7 The Law of Dharma - This laws says that we have taken physical form to fulfill a purpose on this earth. There is something that you can do better than ANYONE in this whole world. Ego Bumps: -you don't know and/or seek your purpose -you don't know and/or seek your true Self (at this point in the challenge hopefully we can cross this one off lol) -you don't belief that inside of you resides a God or Goddess -you don't know, seek or express your unique talent(s) -you don't serve others -you often operate from the standpoint of "what's in it for me?" Whew that was alot huh?! I urge you to take a look at the book in its entirety. It is short, sweet, simple and full of little nuggets to grow upon. But back to the task at hand. Above you have your 7LOSS... here is what you are going to do with them: 1) If you had to start living by these laws immediately, which one would cause the most friction in your spirit? ie Which one makes your Ego say "I don't like that, I can't do that. That's lame?" It's that law that makes you uneasy, goes against all your programming and makes your sit up straight in your seat... that's the one I want!! Write it down. 2) That law you just battled with above, why do you think that is? You know what to do to figure it out... F2SE. Use the F2SE to uncover why this law is causing you a hissy fit in your spirit. *if you don't know what F2SE is, please refer back to Week One of The Unravel Challenge. 3) Take a moment to play your life out on the movie screen of your mind. Take note of the places and patterns in your life where the need for this law shows up. In what ways has your past shown you the need to incorporate this law more actively into your current dimension? 4) During this week put your most "disliked" law to work on a proactive level. Create a plan to actively align with this law in your day to day life. 5) Also, consider which law you are already in the most alignment with. Maybe there is one that you have intrinsically always had operating in your world. Or maybe there is one that is calling out to your spirit and feels like it would be no work at all to make that law your reality. Using your most "liked" law, give gratitude daily for how it currently serves your higher good and the good of those around you. Also, create ways to align with this law even further so that it may continue to elevate and support your journey. Ok love!! Lots of goodies to work through this week. As I stated on the video post (ft on my InstaGram @she_gathers_wellness), give yourself lots of space and grace while going through this process. Remembering that there are no right or wrong answers, nor no right or wrong ways to flow through this process. Okay. This took me awhile because there were somethings. I didn't want to admit to myself about myself. The law that rubbed me the wrong way and went against my programing is the law of least effort. I feel like this law I couldn't vibe with because I feel like if you work your hardest at something to achieve a got you see results, but this law is saying that life doesn't work that way all the time. Just cause you want something doesn't make it so. It's hard for me to accept that because I have control issues. It's not that I want everything to go my way it's just that I have certain expectations. I feel like the output should match the input. I battle daily trying to control my controllable and letting what I can't control go. The law I am most aligned with is the law of giving because I usually give more of myself than anything.

Whew. Yea that’s a hard one for a lot of folks!! I’ve battled it myself. We’re so deeply programmed that true effort and consistency get misconstrued for this new concept of hard work. Effort and Ease are the balance and the divine will settle the rest (as opposed to us doing it lol)
